Making conservative bets, which means smaller wins, is the best way to reduce the house odds and lower the house advantage.

Although the odds are still in the house’s favour, there are some short-term strategies that you can use that will help you to lower the house odds.

Iron Cross: One of the easiest and most intuitive systems that has stood the test of time. Use the field and bet on the 5, 6 & 8. The Iron Cross means you will only lose if the dice turn up a seven. Don’t be fooled into thinking you have the edge with the iron cross. It lowers the house edge to 3.87% on average, but you won’t win every time. Start small and if your bet is a winner, you want to double that bet. If that bet is a winner, double that bet again. At that point, you will start over. If any of those bets lose, you start from the beginning. If your starting bet loses, you will continue that bet until it becomes a winner. The Paroli allows you to take advantage of hot streaks and limit those cold patches.
